(Fully Remote in the US; HQ in NYC)
In a world where corporations are benefiting from your data without your knowledge, we believe that you deserve the tools to seamlessly put your own data to work for your own benefit.
Pogo is your agent in today's digital world. Link your data with our app and we'll work tirelessly to find you the best ways to earn and save. Whether it's on bills, fees or everyday shopping, Pogo's always got your back.
We're also building the infrastructure for you to monetize your data directly with companies (if you choose). With the disappearance of 3rd party data sources like online cookies, companies are scrambling for your opt-in.
Our data economy is broken today and it's time for a reset. For the first time, Pogo puts you in the driver's seat of your data to get you the value you deserve.
We're growing really fast
About your role
As a PM at Pogo, you'll explore, test and build new features:
Research, build and launch new features – from inception to mass adoption – that will change both the lives of our users and the trajectory of our company
Identify and execute hypothesis-driven experiments that will lead to step-change improvement in engagement, revenue or growth metrics
Orchestrate user discovery, interviews and testing to narrow down on and improve features - driving towards evidence-based design and UI thinking
Dissect technical documentation and identify technical considerations for products you are building, collaborating with engineering team to identify what’s feasible and worth prioritizing
Collaborate with design and engineering to transform specs into world-class product experiences
Monitor and analyze product metrics to uncover unique insights about where to invest and where to descope
Design the product function at Pogo - what it's responsible for, how it interfaces with other teams, and how it'll grow and develop over time
Work closely with our co-founder and Chief Product Officer to help set the product roadmap
We're looking for the best talent out there, so we're offering above-market salaries & equity.
You have 3+ years of product management experience at a high-growth company, shipping consumer-facing products and apps that people love – and that move metrics.
You have strong product sense and user empathy. You're able to put yourself in the shoes of users and can predict how products and experiences will be perceived and used
You are hypothesis-driven and empirical, obsessing over evidence-based and metrics-driven approaches and creating closed feedback loops whenever you ship something
You have strong technical awareness and aptitude, with an ability to grasp technical documentation and identify technical trade-offs and considerations
You love ambiguous problems and greenfield territories, and have a track record of taking initiative to find new product ideas and turn them into massive outcomes.
You move fast with impact through exceptional prioritization skills and smart, scrappy approaches to testing and building
You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and can communicate requirements, ideas and results in a way anyone can easily understand - internally and externally.
You are a cross-functional leader who gets an organization working together towards strategic objectives – especially with engineering, design, marketing and support.
You have a strong data analysis toolbox, including experience with Excel/GSheets and SQL

Why you might not be excited about us
Our product vision is broad - and stakeholders are many. Our product vision is ambitious and broad – and product is at the core of a company. With a company full of product-minded people - from the founders to the engineers, designers and more - there are many stakeholders expecting to have a say on what we build - and what we don’t.
Priorities may shift quickly. Oftentimes, we're tackling very ambiguous problems that don't have clear-cut answers. While we make calculated bets, we have a strong culture of experimentation and we'll pivot as necessary based on what we're seeing in the data and what we're hearing from our users.
We don't have structured management (yet!). We don't have the management overhead to provide direction every step of the way and we're looking for someone that gets energized by being able to run with things.
Raw hours can make an impact on our business at our current stage. This means that we oftentimes work more than your typical 9-5 job. This won't always be the case as we scale, but it is at the present. That said, we trust each team member to create a flexible work schedule that allows them to be most productive while accommodating other priorities outside of work. We also strongly encourage time off to recharge the batteries: in addition to unlimited PTO, we've implemented a minimum 20 days vacation policy
